Synopsis

In the depths of winter, a historic power outage. The absence of electric heating quickly gives way to mutual aid and human warmth, suggesting that loneliness might be more dangerous than the cold.

Born in 1989, Marie-Noëlle Moreau Robidas is a French-Canadian animation filmmaker. She lives and works in Montreal. A graduate of the Mel Hoppenheim school of cinema, her student film Quid (2015) has been screened in Canada and Europe. She is interested in intimacy and the inner world. TRIANGLE NOIR (Triangle of Darkness) is her first professional short film. It won the audience award at the Montreal Animation Film Summits.
