With SILENCE, Gabrielle Mankiewicz directed her first short fiction film. Following her studies in cinema, her passion for scriptwriting and directing grew, which prompted her to develop as a filmmaker. An assistant director for over ten years now, Gabrielle had a deep desire to pay tribute to cinema. Her first work is therefore inspired by all these hidden jobs, artisans and technicians, that she has been around since she was very young.
