Synopsis

VEDAY is the story of an insurrection on Canada’s east coast when Allied Victory was announcedat the end of World War II. The film, told through the eyes of a Petty Officer, mirrors the events in Europe and the growing tensions at home. At times historical documentary, at others fantastical re-enactment,VEDAY aims to shed light on a little known moment in Canadian War History.
