
Constance works for an independent radio station where she broadcasts sound creations of political character. She lives with Eugene, an aspiring writer, voluntarily withdrawn from the outside world. Each week, the couple welcome Beatrice, a lonesome and tragically-minded homeless young woman, in their modest apartment. Destiny makes Constance and Beatrice stumble upon Raoul Debord, a mystery-man at the head of a clandestine revolutionary organisation, whose upcoming mission is to hijack all the city's radio waves.

Renaud Després-Larose is a Quebecois filmmaker, actor and cinematographer, best known for the feature film The Dream and the Radio (Le Rêve et la radio, 2022). Co-directed with Ana Tapia Rousiouk, the film is a hybrid work blending experimental and political elements, which premiered at the International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR). He studied philosophy in Montreal and has contributed to Hors Champ, the first French-language online film journal.///Ana Tapia Rousiouk is an Ecuadorian-Ukrainian acousmatic composer, sound designer and filmmaker based in Montreal. In 2014, she directed the medium-length documentary film, Les pratiquants, a study of ritual aspects of practicing a musical instrument, seen through the eyes of music school students. In 2022, she co-directed the feature film Le rêve et la radio with Renaud Després-Larose, which premiered in the Tiger Competition at IFFR (Rotterdam).
