Olivier Godin has made numerous films. In 2014, the Cinémathèque québécoise dedicated a retrospective to his work. His cinema blends tones, genres, and contradictions. He always works with modest means, in a resolutely artisanal spirit, which doesn't stop his films from featuring battles, swords, knives, and bawdy jokes. In short: adventure! His latest film, Don't Forget the Oatmeal, is a children's movie for adults, featuring nasal pyramids ravaged by cocaine, kung fu, and far too many drawings of erect penises. Miraculously, he occasionally receives awards and grants.
