
A tender portrait of Julitta, a Polish woman living with Alzheimer’s in Montréal, from her 99th to 100th birthday. Through intimate footage and wartime journal entries, the film delicately weaves her present with echoes of her past as a prisoner in Siberia during World War II.

Mitchell Stafiej is a disabled film director and producer who lives and works in Montreal, Quebec. He has lived with Type 1 Diabetes since he was 16 years old. He embraces textural images and harsh sound and often shoots films on 16mm and lo-fi technology like HI-8 and cell phones to create uniquely "disabled images."
