‍Justine Prince is a filmmaker from Quebec City whose work primarily explores gender representation and nostalgia. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in film production from UQAM in 2021. The following year, she received the Canadian Academy of Cinema and Television’s Emerging Talent Scholarship and secured funding for her first independent short film, PEACHES, which screened in a dozen festivals worldwide. In 2024, she was selected for the Sundance Ignite x Adobe Fellowship, where she developed her short film ALMOST PINK, also supported by funding from SODEC and CALQ. Constantly seeking honesty in her work, she draws inspiration from deeply personal stories with universal resonance.
