Justine Prince
Canada (Quebec)

is a Montreal-based filmmaker whose work explores gender representation and nostalgia. Although she doesn’t particularly like talking about herself, she would describe herself as a shy extrovert who embraces contradictions. After graduating from UQAM’s Film Production program in 2021, she worked as film distributor. In 2023, she secured funding for her first independent short film, “Peaches”, which screened at numerous film festivals worldwide. In 2024, Justine was as Sundance Ignite x Adobe fellow, where she developed her short film “Almost Pink”, selected for its world premiere at TIFF in 2026. If you’re looking for her, she’s probably trying to finish her master’s thesis in a café or sipping funky wines at a local wine bar.
