André Turpin is a director, cinematographer and screenwriter based in Montreal. He has written and directed 3 feature films (Zigrail, Un Crabe dans la tête and Endorphine) and 8 shorts. As a cinematographer, he has shot over 25 pictures, such as Denis Villeneuve’s Incendies, Maelstrom and 32nd of august on Earth, Xavier Dolan’s Tom at the farm, Mommy, It’s not the end of the world, The Life and death of John F Donavan, Matthias et Maxime and his latest television series, La nuit où Laurier Gaudreault s’est réveillé. His latest collaboration is for Monia Chokri’s Simple comme Sylvain. These films have won several international prizes and have been screened in Cannes, Venice, Tiff and Sundance film festivals. He has also shot over 1000 tv commercials ans dozens of music videos.
