Daniel Boos is an emerging filmmaker from Nova Scotia, Canada. His short films have been screened at the Festival du Nouveau Cinéma, the Vancouver International Film Festival, the Chicago International Film Festival, Téléfilm's Not Short on Talent, the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival, the CBC Short Film Faceoff, and the Phi Centre, among others. Daniel received the A&E Short Filmmakers Award from the National Institute of Screen Arts of Canada, the Best Short Film Award at the Screen NS Awards, and the Irving Avrich Fund from the Toronto International Film Festival. He is pursuing a master's degree in film at York University.
