Synopsis

Robert Armanyous is an Egyptian-Canadian filmmaker based in Toronto. His work often explores themes related to trauma, masculinity and the conflicts spurred from living within a working class environment. His screenplays have placed in the Academy’s Nicholl Fellowship in Screenwriting and the Austin Film Festival Screenplay Competition. He teaches film production at Sheridan College, Toronto Film School and Toronto Metropolitan University. He is currently outlining a screenplay through the Canada Council for the Arts “Research and Creation” grant. Thin Walls is his directorial debut.
