
Storm Child is a nightmarish incursion in the tormented mind of a four year old child. Yasmine and her family are Algerian refugees who just arrived in Québec during the infamous 1998 ice storm.

Ines Guennaoui has directed two short fiction films, the latest of which, Loulou ou la Résurgence, was in competition at the Festival du Nouveau Cinéma. Of Italian and Moroccan origin, born in Quebec, she is interested in multiple identities and in the conflicting links between the individual and society.
